Paddock, from Arthur, is alongside what could be the FINAL 16" Shell ever to be fired at The Arthur Fireworks. Last year was officially the last year for the 16" shell (due to cost and availablity) but to honor a noble request by Oye's Hardware to sponsor 16" shell out of respect and in the memory of Staff Sergeant Jason E. Burkholder, of Marshall, Illinois and 1st Lieutenant Jared W. Southworth, of Oakland Illinois
WHO WERE BOTH KILLED IN AFGHANISTAN.

The Arthur Fireworks decided to pursue all options and were finally successful when they obtained this magnificent shell. Now, when the thousands of spectators in Arthur, on Saturday, June 27th, view the night sky lit by the beautiful Pyrotechnics in this 16" Shell, that these patriotic spectators will also take a moment and remember these brave soldiers that gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country and for all

THEY DIED SO THAT WE (AND CHILDREN LIKE MADDY) MAY GROW UP AND KNOW FREEDOM BECAUSE OF THESE SOLDIERS THAT WERE GUARDING, AND FIGHTING, AND DYING TO KEEP THE UNTIED STATES OF AMERICA SAFE AND FREE!

Arthur, Illinois~The Ultimate Fireball will be detonated during The 2009 Arthur Fireworks.

After extensive Research & Development, Larry Schlabach and The Niagara Falls Fellows have declared that The Ultimate Fireball has successfully completed the battery of Safety and Performance tests and is ready for the full load of 12 pounds of black powder that, when ignited,

Ultimate Fire Ball
will set off a chain reaction that will cause the detonation of the Fireball's proprietary ingredients that have been placed on top of the black powder. This detonation will then create the actual Ultimate Fireball, that witnesses have said looks like an Atomic Bomb! The enormous size and heat from the Fireball itself as it boils upward over 100 feet, is what one witness said could only be described as a "$10,000 dollar, Hollywood Special Effect..."!

And the only place you can see it LIVE is on
